Hello everyone welcome back to this YouTube channel Globexa immigration in this blog we are going to discuss about all the things which matter when you are choosing your University whether it is a public university or a private university we are going for private universities there are so many private universities which are quite popular in Canada they are quite old as well and they are quite reputed as well so we are discussing few things which can matter while choosing a university and what kind of things should matter to you when choosing a university there are two type of things one is validity of your program and University second is the value of the University so we are going to discuss on both the points.
1.1 What Matters ?

Whether you are going to get a job after completing your study or not most of the student convert their part-time job into a full-time job after completing the study and whenever you are going to search for a job your experience is going to matter rather than your study they are going to ask for your skills they’re going to ask for your experience that is going to matter when you are searching for a job so no need to worry about your education whatever education you are completing whether you are completing an education in Canada whether you have completed any education in India nothing is going to matter ultimately if you’re cracking the interview if you are having the reference if you are displaying your skills you are going to get job let me give you an example there are many people who are going to Canada on spouse open work permit if you’re going on spouse open work permit in that case you do not have any education in Canada if you go to Canada on PR directly or PNP directly in that case as well you don’t have any education in Canada still these people without having any education in Canada get job in Canada and they are doing far better than many people who are studying in Canada who have completed their their study in Canada the reason is simple if you are displaying your skills if you are displaying your experience in that case you are going to get job and you are going to get good salaries as well so no need to worry about whether your study is valued or not whether you are going to get job after your study or not no one cares about your study your study is least valued in Canada your experience your skills are going to get you job rather than your education which you are completing in Canada people who don’t have any study in Canada they also get good job there is no problem I have given you example of spouse open work permit and PR PNP these people are earning really good in Canada without having any education in Canada.
1.1.3 PNP/PR
Whether your private university is going to impact your PNP or PR even if there is any kind of program related to PNP or PR there is no separation between private university or public university all the universities give you same points in Express entry for direct PR for uh PR of entire Canada and in PNP as well there is no segregation that if you are coming from this particular University then you are going to get separate special points or more points if you’re coming from specific University you are going to get less points.
1.1.4 Affordability
So most of the private universities and public universities fee is almost same in some Public University fee is even higher for example Lauren University is a public university but MBA in lenal University cost you $660,000 but same MBA you can complete in 35 40,000 Canadian dollar quite easily there are many options available so many private universities are quite affordable some universities are costly as well but affordable options are also available in one of the private universities it is Trinity Western University in Trinity Western University P of one program starts from $22,000 for entire program $27,000 for one more option to $36,000 for your MBA so there are many options available so range starts from $22,000 so in even in private university there are quite affordable options available this is one of the most affordable programs just $22,000 is your fee so you’re are going to a private university which is quite old as well quite valued as well location is Vancouver still the fee is $22,000 or if you go for master of leadership program in that case fee is $227,000 if you’re going for MBA then the fee is $36,000 so there is complete range of programs and private universities are affordable as well.
1.1.5 Availability of Seats
If the seats are not available in public universities what you are going to do in that scenario right now as well we are able to secure admission in September intake there are two private universities which are available right now one is IBU in Toronto and second is try Western University in Vancouver so these two private universities are still available for September intake they are going to save a lot of time for you because you can start your study in September next intake is January next intake is May so if you are going to go for public universities most probably you are not going to get admission till next year may intake or next year September intake that is the scenario in the public universities.
1.1.6 Ease of Admission
So if you are going to go for admission in public universities then eligibility criteria is always high you require more percentage in marks you require mostly four year of bachelor degree if you are going for a master degree percentage wise as well even if you are applying after 12th in that case either they don’t have ug diploma options they have bachelor degree options and most students don’t want to go for bachelor degree options even if you are going for a ug diploma option still either the Fe are going to be fee is going to be high or the eligibility criteria is going to be high so private universities are going to give us benefit of ease of admission as well so if your percentage is like suppose you completed your Bachelor 3 years Bachelor 20 years back and your percentage was 53% in that case public universities are not going to give you admission then private universities are going to give you admission so ease of admission is there we get seats and we get easy eligibility as well that is what matters in many cases where you are going for Master’s level program.
1.1.7 Campus location
Most of the public universities are not on the prime locations in the city so you are going to find Easy locations good locations better locations whenever you are going to private universities the location of UCW is quite Prime Trinity Western University is quite Prime so there are many IBU is quite Prime so many private universities you are going to find they are open on the prime locations.
1.2 Be Careful but Don’t be Fearful

- Ambrose University 1921
So many private universities are there which were opened before 200 so if you are going to an old University and so there is no University Which is less than 20 years old all the private universities are quite old why are worried about your future so everything is secured your PG work permit your work after completing your study then your PR PNP everything is sorted there is no separate rule for these universities and public universities so these are quite popular universities and many students go for them if you want to apply you required to give give your documents 10th 12th your education experience passport is or PT whatever test is available with you and we can proceed for your admission and your visa application as well.
