Why Germany?
If you want to settle in Europe, you don’t want to go to other English-speaking countries. Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or you are not getting visas. In that case in Europe, Germany becomes a default choice because Germany has everything what you require. It is one of the biggest economies and then it helps you in getting you PR as well. If you are ready to learn German language ultimately you are going to get PR as well. So Germany becomes a default choice. You should not look for other countries because Germany is one of the best countries.
They are welcoming immigrants as well and they are giving you open PR pathways as well.
Three Options Available in Germany
Germany has two major kind of visas available in Germany. One is Germany Opportunity Card, second you can go for public universities. Germany public universities and study for free it is not available in most of the countries. And third is normal Germany study visa application with a private university.
I am going to differentiate all of them. I am going to share two major products here. One is Germany Opportunity Card after bachelor’s. It is the best application. It is not available in most of the countries of the world. So it is available in Germany. So you should not take anything else if you are able to get Germany Opportunity Card and it has really high visa success rate as well.
Germany After a Bachelor’s Degree
In short this video is not to give you so many details. This video is to give you brief idea so that you get to know these are the options available with me and then you can decide which option you want to take. Should you go to any other country in Europe? For me the answer is no.
So if you have the option of Germany and if you have done bachelor’s degree you should not look for any other country in Europe because Germany gives you everything what you require. One option to reach there. It is moderately difficult but it is achievable. That is one thing. Second thing is you get option to get PR. They have open pathways decided defined pathways for PR which is highly important for us so that ultimately you get PR of the country we don’t want to come back from the country where we have spent money energy emotions we want to get PR in that country.
1. Germany Opportunity Card
Why do we study in a particular country? Especially masters. We have done bachelors already. Suppose I am in India. I have completed my bachelors. After that studying do we really want to study in the country? What we want to get in the country after our study whether we are going to Canada, USA, UK what we want to get is our PG work permit post study work permit. This is what we want to study for so that we start working we start earning we go towards PR. We are not interested in study.
Even if you need to pay for that still people are not going to study because ultimately what we want to get we want to get our post study work permit or PG work permit post-graduation work permit and Germany gives you this option after bachelor’s degree. You can take Germany Opportunity Card. It is exactly same as your PG work permit without any study. It is a one year of jobseeker visa. It is called Germany Opportunity Card or Chancenkarte. So this is one option available to you. It is for one year.
1.1 Duration and Job Search
You can extend it as well. After the studying journey, how much PG work permit you get? You get 18 months of PG work permit. You get one year of Germany Opportunity Card and you can extend it for one more year and it becomes 2 year of PG work permit. So without even study you are getting PG work permit.
And people are going to say I am not getting job and I need to search for a job on Opportunity Card. There is no guarantee of job. When you study in Germany you paid the tuition fee and you get one and a half year of PG work. Is it guaranteed that you are going to get job? Are you getting placement from the university? The answer is no. There also you are going to do the same thing.
1.2 Part-Time and Full-Time Work
Assume that you have completed your study, you are on Opportunity Card and now you need to search for a job without even studying, without even spending a single penny on your study. You have got PG work permit. This is called Germany Opportunity Card.
On this you are allowed to work part-time. What do you do on PG work permit? You work part-time. You work full-time. This is what you do. You can work part-time or full-time. Whatever work you are getting, you can do it. So you can work 20 hours per week in part-time job in Germany. If you are getting a full-time job, okay, you can do a full-time job. As soon as you get a full-time job, you convert your Opportunity Card into a work permit.
1.3 Funds and Blocked Account
Again you can work part-time, you can work full-time and funds requirement, you just required to show blocked account money €13,000 that you will get back. You require this money for study visa as well. Whether you are going for public universities, whether you are going for private university, you need to show the blocked account. So that is already there. And this money will come back to you.
So it is in India it is approximately 15 lakh rupees. This money will come back to you after you are going to land in Germany and rest of the expenses are approximately just three lakh rupees or less than €3,000. That’s it.
1.4 Expenses and Return of Blocked Account Money
So real expense is just €3,000 less than €3,000 including everything including flight ticket everything and blocked account which you are showing this money will come back to you in 12 equal installments and you will get this entire money back. So without spending much of the money you are getting Germany Opportunity Card which is exactly same as your PG work permit. Why to study in Germany? There is no point studying in Germany and visa success rate is really really high in Germany Opportunity Card. The way we submit application we do not get refusal of any application.
1.5 English Test and German Test
Ideally if you have completed your bachelor’s degree always go with Germany Opportunity Card. Do not look for study at all in Germany. Also there is one more thing which is not mentioned here. You don’t require any English test. English test is not needed. German test is not needed as well.
German test is not needed as well. Neither English test required nor German test required. Just in euros you require approximately €16,000 out of which you are going to get back €13,000. It will come back to you after landing in Germany. Real cost is just €3,000. No English test, no German test, no special preparation. Just because your bachelor degree is recognized as H+ on Nabin, we can directly submit your application.
1.6 Application Process
Directly submit the application. We will open the blocked account and we will collect your documentation. Submit the application. Done. Dusted over. Within 3 months you can travel to Germany. You don’t require to take admission in any university. You don’t require to study anything directly. Go and start looking for work.
2. Public Universities in Germany
2.1 Studying at a Public University
Assume that you have completed your study in Germany and you have got PG work requirement. This is that PG work requirement. So this is one of the best applications you must go for rather than studying in Germany. Even in public universities, even in public universities where you are getting admission for free there as well. You need to spend two years of time. You are not paying the tuition fee. I understand that tuition fee is zero.
But you are spending two years of time then you will get PG work permit and then you need to start looking for the jobs. Spend your time, energy, money on learning German language. It is not mandatory. First of all, it is not mandatory for the entire process. But if you are going to learn German language, it will help you in getting higher level jobs and it will help you in getting PR as well.
2.2 Public University Admission
Next option is public universities. You can go for public universities in Germany. Public universities again not everyone will get admission in public universities but you should give it a shot if your percentage is really good percentage. If you are 85% 90% kind of pedigree if you are coming from that top grade pedigree NIT IIT student definitely you can go for this or if you are coming from other universities but your percentage is really good you need to take English test.
2.3 English Test and Intakes
English test requirement is try for 6.5 that should be the ideal score 6.5 no less than six try to get even more if you can but 6.5 is the standard score which you should target. 3 to four years of bachelor is accepted for public universities you need to have this process. There are two intakes in that one intake is April intake and second is October intake. So every six month there is intake and you can prepare yourself prepare the documentation apply to 7 8 10 universities 5 seven universities at least top level university mid-level university then lower level public universities.
2.4 Fees and Blocked Account
In all the public universities study is really good but ranking wise in public universities and you don’t require to pay anything but ranking wise you should choose two universities on top two universities on mid two universities on bottom so that you are covering all the levels so that you get admission at least somewhere and you are able to study.
So if you are getting admission in public universities if you are that top pedigree more than 80 90% marks so in that case yes you can get admission in public universities of Germany it is possible there is no tuition fee there is a semester deposit of usually €400 per semester which is approximately €100 per month which is absolutely nothing negligible it’s just nothing there is no tuition fee you need to have a blocked account of around €12,000 you will get this blocked account money back in one year. €1,000 per month you will get back and the entire 12,000 you will get back in one year. So this is not an expense. This is not an expense.
2.5 Profile and Competition
English test you require and if you are having really good percentage your profile is good, you have done projects you have done research you have done publication patents blah blah blah blah blah entire word applies to the public universities in Germany. Seats are limited. They are going to choose the topmost applications and they are going to give you admission if you are that kind of student.
So if your profile is really awesome then public universities can also work for you. But again why why do you want to study? If you can directly get Opportunity Card, Germany Opportunity Card directly go for that. Test yourself if you have already done so many projects if you have done gain some kind of experience some internship directly go there and search for jobs.
Why do you even want to study for 2 years? If you want, yes, you can go for it. But not everyone will get admission. That is one thing. You need to take English test. That is another thing. Yeah, if you falling in this, yes, you can go for publicities. You may get admission, may not get admission because it is highly competitive. So that is the second option. You can go for public universities in Germany. Here also you don’t require to pay anything. There is no tuition fee. So real expenses same like Germany Opportunity Card.
3. Private Universities in Germany
3.1 Private University Study Option
Third private universities. So private universities it is like normal universities in the entire world like USA, Canada, Australia or anywhere UK where you pay and just complete your degree. If you are going for this I would always say that do not go for this. Not at all.
3.2 Tuition Fees and Two-Year Master’s
Why? If you have completed a bachelor’s degree for a master’s degree, why do you want to go to a private university where you required to pay? If you are getting public university, still it is considerable. You are getting top-notch public universities in the world. It is highly competitive. Still you got admission.
It will have some value because you are getting admission in the top universities of the world. Public universities that too you do you are not paying anything. It will give some edge to your profile because there after that you will be able to settle in Germany or in other countries as well because you have completed your masters from public universities of Germany. It has value but here why do you want to study after paying for me? No recommendation.
You will study first of all you need to complete your study for two years. Most of the programs will be completed in two years. Masters will be completed in 2 years. In 2 year tuition fee is going to be approximately 8,000 to 12,000 so in 2 years you are going to spend 20,000 to 204,000 in your tuition fee and then after that you will get one and a half year of PG work permit.
3.3 Admission Requirements and Costs
Why to do it? directly apply for Germany Opportunity Card if you need to do this and then you need to show the same blocked account as well. So you are paying tuition fee you are showing blocked account as well. So the amount required to take study visa with a private university is on higher side. It is higher compared to Germany Opportunity Card. It is higher compared to Germany public universities.
Requirements are same. You need to have same 6.5 bands to get admission and three or four year of bachelor degree is required to get admission and mostly 60% or 70% marks are required to get admission depending upon the universities and this is a tuition fee you need to pay and blocked account you need to open you will get the blocked account money back but your expense which is different is your tuition fee for 2 year you need to pay your tuition fee.
4. Germany Opportunity Card Compared With University Options
4.1 Opportunity Card and Private Universities
So if you want to study after bachelor’s in Germany in a private university for me the answer is absolutely no because Germany Opportunity Card is 100 time better than better than this if you’re getting public university go for it you can think about it still I feel that opportunity card is good better than that why to even spend two years of time of your life in studying for a master degree when you are directly getting post study work permit.
Still if you want to study you can go because you are not at least spending money on it and you can give yourself time in your grooming and studying and you want to enjoy that study duration as well. Okay, go for it. You are not paying anything. Here you are paying for that study why to why to take it when you have an option of Germany Opportunity.
4.2 Personal Choice and Admission
Germany Opportunity Card option is not available in other countries. So there you don’t have that option but in Germany when you have this option why not why not to take it. So it is one of the best options to take. Private universities I will not recommend for that go for Opportunity Card. Public universities again it is your personal choice whether you want to study or not. Second whether you will get admission or not that is also one more thing.
5. Germany Opportunity Card Application
5.1 Requirements for the Opportunity Card
If you are not getting admission here in Germany Opportunity Card percentage doesn’t matter second is PT not required third your German language not required nothing is required just bachelor degree is there we can load the file we can collect the documents we can prepare the documents collect the documents submit your application that’s it straight so it is the better application compared to other though two options.
5.2 Germany Opportunity Card, Public Universities and Private Universities
