Before that, a big question is, should you go to USA? Should you settle in USA? Is the desire people have for USA correct? Is USA actually a place where you should go, where you will get work and earn money and your life will become better?
The answer is yes. That desire is correct. The aspiration to go there is correct. The value you get is correct. The life you get is correct. There is no other country where you get that kind of life which you get in USA. I also love the country.
But the way people try to settle in the country and the way people try to reach the country, that method and process is not correct. It is not that I want to demoralize people that USA should not be chosen because USA visas do not come, USA gives refusals, USA has problems, you will stay on H1B for 20-25 years and after that also you may not know whether you will get a green card or not. If you apply for asylum, you may not know after how many years action will be taken.
The point is not that USA is not a good country. The question is whether it is a good country or the best country. Definitely, it is one of the best countries.

The way people follow the process of settlement in USA needs refinement. The way you should approach USA for your settlement, that process should change.

The seven-year timeline includes approximately two years of study.
Whether you do UG diploma, PG diploma or master’s, it can finish within two years.
After that, you get three years of PG work permit.
If you follow guidance and make proper efforts, PR can happen.
If your skill level is good and you do not restrict yourself by saying you will not do certain jobs, you will not move to certain locations or you will not do certain things, then PR can become possible.
Most PR streams require one year of experience.
There are also streams where you can become eligible with an offer letter.
